INTERNATIONAL. Welcome to The Moodie Report PLUS. The latest edition of our popular PDF-format feature series, which focuses on the industry’s biggest developments and store openings, is dedicated to the new Terminal 3 at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
The Grand Opening of this stunning new terminal will be celebrated in coming weeks. But just after the soft, first-phase opening in February, The Moodie Report gained exclusive and extensive access to the terminal and to senior Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) management, including Chairman H.E. Khalifa Al Mazrouei. The Moodie Report PLUS examines the far-sighted philosophy behind the terminal – one that embraces key industry themes including Sense of Place; balancing aeronautical operations with non-aeronautical revenues; and maximising the consumer experience.
We think Terminal 3 ticks all those boxes – and many more. That supplement will include interviews with the ADAC management and Chairman; with dynamic concessionaires such as Sharaf and DFS Group (which makes a huge impact at T3 with the luxury, range and execution of its brand offer); and with Etihad Airways, sole airline user of the new terminal.
