It also reported on news from The Estée Lauder Companies – which recently struck an agreement to fully acquire global skincare company Have & Be Co, which owns Dr.Jart+. It signalled the first time that The Estée Lauder Companies has acquired an Asia-based beauty brand.

The Duty Free News Flash then moved onto Amsterdam Schiphol Airport where Kappé Schiphol has introduced an innovative Observ skin analysis service in its Perfumes & Cosmetics shops. It also reported on Aesop’s newest standalone boutique in Melbourne Airport in partnership with Dufry.

Globuy’s report also majored on Hong Kong where L’Oréal Travel Retail unveiled the latest edition of its Armani Box pop-up. Afterwards, it reviewed key products from DFS Group’s annual ‘Give Joy’ holiday campaign. The campaign brings together 90 brands, offering a curated selection of over 150 products across DFS’s fashion, accessories, beauty and fragrances, wines and spirits, food and gifting ranges.

This week’s Duty Free News Flash concludes with a recap of Lancôme Travel Retail Asia Pacific’s ten-year anniversary celebrations for the Advanced Génifique Serum. To celebrate the occasion, Lancôme unveiled the world’s first ‘Microbiome Hub’ in T Galleria Beauty by DFS at Hysan Place in Hong Kong.
