The competition is still available to enter for anyone who has not previously done so. All scores will count from the moment you join so you can still compete and earn points.

The competition, open to anyone involved in the travel retail sector (mandatory), is based on match predictions for the 16-team 2022 UEFA European Women’s Football Championship (UEFA Women’s Euro 2022), which runs from 6 to 31 July in England.

This is travel retail’s first such competition to focus on women’s sport, with the winners (first, second, third) set to receive donations from The Moodie Davitt Report to go towards their nominated women’s charities. Prizes on offer are €1,000, €500 and €250.

The rules are simple. Qualified readers simply need to make a score prediction in each of the matches, and will be awarded points based on the accuracy of their predictions. This includes bonus points for predicting the exact scoreline, as well as how many goals either the home or away team scored. It’ s simple, fun and with a great cause.

How to enter: You can enter now by clicking this link and creating a UEFA account. Once you have done so, you can then join the league. Alternatively you can click the ‘Leagues’ tab near the top of the screen and select ‘Join a league’. From there you can submit the pin 5J6DXGUBJS to enter The Moodie Davitt Report league.

Predictions for each game are submitted via the Predictions tab near the top of the page. You will have until kick-off for each game to submit your predictions for that match. We will send out reminders ahead of each round of fixtures, as well as before each knock-out stage.

Once you have your account set up, you can change your display name in the league by clicking on your profile settings at the top of the page, and selecting a UEFA Games Profile username (we recommend using your full name and company initials). Otherwise people will be displayed by the first half of their email address.

Predictor Rules: Each person receives three points for a correct result. Players will otherwise receive one point if they correctly predict how many goals either the home or away team scores. Players will also receive a point if they correctly predict the goal difference between the two teams (so you will receive a point for a 2-0 prediction if that team did win by a different score but a two-goal margin).

You will also receive a bonus point for predicting which team will score first in any given match. You can also place a booster on one match per round, which will double your score for that game.

Which teams to back: According to football data analytics website The Analyst, the favourites for the tournament are England, France, Germany, Sweden and The Netherlands. The bookies also heavily rate Spain.

Below you can view the official FIFA rankings for all 16 teams as well as the group breakdown.

You can read more in-depth previews of the tournament, as well as which teams to back, at The Analyst and Squawka.
