The Moodie Davitt eZine: Celebrating 300 editions of a transformative digital title – and our 19th birthday

INTERNATIONAL. Welcome to the 300th edition of The Moodie Davitt eZine, Travel Retail’s LookBook, a publication that coincides with the 19th anniversary of our company’s founding by Martin Moodie in September 2002. We celebrate both milestones in this title.

Since its launch in August 2011, the eZine has helped to transform travel retail publishing, embracing and stretching the full power of the digital platform. The eZine has pioneered a new way of looking at the industry, offering timely and insightful features, news and columns, presented in a dynamic, highly visual fashion, while also incorporating videos, podcasts and images – all underpinned of course, by top-class journalism. We look back on the journey so far in these pages.

Today also marks our 19th anniversary, with The Moodie Report first appearing in PDF format back on 16 September 2002. We trace many of the highlight moments, key events and digital innovations that stand out along the way.
