INTERNATIONAL. Welcome to the latest issue of The Moodie Davitt e-Zine. In a special on location report, we bring you detailed coverage from Melbourne Airport’s transformed Terminal 2 commercial environment, including an in-depth interview with the Andrew Gardiner-led retail team.
The Victorian gateway last month revealed an elegant and ambitious luxury precinct, alongside an upgraded duty free, speciality retail and dining offer.
“This is about the experience, entertainment and enjoyment at the airport,” said Melbourne Airport CEO Lyell Strambi. “One of our big aspirations is to reflect the city. This precinct brings some of Melbourne’s great attributes to life, from shopping to food & beverage.”
We also present a dedicated feature on Dufry’s reimagined and redesigned walk-through store at the airport – one of the first to be rolled out under its exciting ‘New Generation’ concept.
Elsewhere in the issue, we preview Incheon International Airport’s long-awaited Terminal 2 duty free offer, set to open on 18 January.
Pragma Managing Director, Airports, Travel & Commercial Spaces Alex Avery looks back on last year’s main themes in airport retail, while in Sense of Place we take an epic journey across New Zealand at Auckland Airport.
Please enjoy this edition of The Moodie Davitt e-Zine with our compliments.
