AUSTRALIA. Brisbane Airport has upgraded its App to feature the Japanese and Korean languages, in addition to English and simplified Chinese.

The latest BNE App (V3.0) provides access to departures and arrivals information, terminal maps and shopping and dining options.

It includes directions to and from the airport and the greater Southeast Queensland region, and information on things to do in Brisbane and elsewhere.

A digital departure card built within the App gives passengers the ability to enter and save personal information onto their mobile devices prior to arrival at the airport.

Travellers with Facebook and Google accounts will be able sign in to personalise their experience at the airport and receive exclusive offers.

A new book section also allows for the easy booking of hotels, rental cars and parking.

“Being able to connect with international visitors via the BNE App before they arrive at the airport can help to reduce levels of anxiety often associated with travelling to a new destination,” he added.
