AUSTRALIA. La Prairie and Heinemann Tax & Duty Free have partnered for a “world-first experience” at Sydney Airport, with the introduction of the luxury skincare brand’s Art of Luxury concept.
“We are bringing a unique immersive experience to Sydney Airport to allow guests to select either a luxury treatment in a private suite, or an express service that can be performed on counter,” said La Prairie Managing Director Australia and New Zealand Rosi Fernandez.
“After much hard work and collaboration, we’re proud to continue our successful partnership with La Prairie. The space’s design, innovation and customer experience are unique to the brand, and we are excited to continuously elevate the travel retail experience,” added Heinemann Australia Managing Director Richard Goodman.

Privacy and comfort
Luxury treatments are available with any purchase from La Prairie made on the same day. The treatments are conducted for 20 minutes in a private beauty suite following a ten-minute personal consultation (30 minutes in total). The facials include a deep cleansing, facial massage and application of La Prairie products to ensure the client’s skin is ‘flight-ready’ according to the brand.
Clients will be offered a treatment from the Platinum Rare, Skin Caviar or White Caviar Collections that best suits their skincare concerns.
The Express services, at counter, are for ten minutes and include:
The Art of Perfection – A La Prairie Beauty Advisor selects and applies a suitable ritual for skin.
- Instant Eye Revive – A signature La Prairie eye massage.
- Complexion Application – An experience featuring La Prairie’s Skin Caviar Complexion creations.
- Skin Caviar Hand and Arm Massage – Hand and arm massage featuring the Skin Caviar Collection.
