FRANCE. TFWA will hold its Annual General Meeting next month via video-conference due to the COVID-19 crisis.

The virtual event, to be held on Thursday 1 October from 11am (CET Paris time) via Zoom, will see the election of the TFWA Management Committee for 2020-2022.

Other items on the agenda include the President’s Report and the Financial and Auditor’s Report, together with critical items such as approval for the 2020-2021 budget (1 May 2020 to 30 April 2021) and utilisation of surplus from the TFWA accounts.

As with all travel retail industry stakeholders, TFWA has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in the cancellation of its Singapore and Cannes shows in 2020 and its planned China show in early 2021.

The Zoom video-conference will allow TFWA members to put any questions they may have to the Board. An invitation to the video-conference is being sent to all TFWA members via email in the coming days.

Voting for the TFWA Management Committee will be accessible via a unique access code.
