FRANCE. Tax Free World Association (TFWA) has revealed details of the programme for the 2022 TFWA World Exhibition & Conference which takes place in Cannes on 2-6 October.
The ‘Get Together’ cocktail opens the event, starting from 7pm on 2 October at Carlton Beach. TFWA Lounge returns this year – from Monday to Wednesday between 6.30pm and 9pm – along with a new late networking session from 11pm to 2am, also on the beachfront.
The TFWA ONE2ONE meeting service will be available on Wednesday and Thursday (5 and 6 October) and this year’s event also sees the return of the TFWA i.lab, which aims to highlight innovative ways of engaging travelling consumers.
As reported, registration for the event opened earlier this month. Booking space is “fast approaching pre-COVID levels”, TFWA said.
TFWA President Erik Juul-Mortensen said: “TFWA World Exhibition & Conference is undoubtedly the most important event in the duty free and travel retail diary, and we’re delighted to see how much interest there has been in the return of the event this October.
“With a considerable number of exhibitors large and small confirming their participation, we’re certain the event will be everything that our industry colleagues hope and more.
