SINGAPORE. A record number of 317 exhibitors are confirmed for this year’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference, which takes place from 7 to 11 May.
Exhibitor numbers are up +2% on last year and almost +9% (from 285) compared to 2015. Of the 317 exhibitors, 76 are new or returning after a break. The 10,300sq m exhibition space at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre has increased +5% from 9,817sq in 2016.
New exhibitors include Giorgio Armani, Morellato Group, Be Relax and Nanyang Brothers Tobacco Co.
TFWA President Erik Juul-Mortensen said: “We are delighted that the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference is continuing to go from strength to strength, and our exhibitor numbers suggest we are on track for a very successful week. These figures also reflect the importance of the Asia Pacific region to our industry and underscore how it is an essential market for all brands in the duty free and travel retail sector.”
Networking opportunities are available to delegates and exhibitors at the event via TFWA’s ONE2ONE pre-scheduled appointment service. The service provides a tailor-made opportunity for retailers, exhibiting brands and service concessionaires to meet with senior executives from Asia Pacific airports and airlines, as well as those from cruise and ferry companies.
