TFWA Asia Pacific event set for strong exhibitor numbers

SINGAPORE. Some 308 companies will be exhibiting at this year’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference, the Tax Free World Association (TFWA) has confirmed.

The figure is slightly down on the record 317 exhibitors in 2017, although that total may be exceeded once final exhibitor numbers for this year are known.

Exhibition space this year spans approximately 10,000sq m.

The event at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore will take place from 6 to 10 May. Pre-registration has been extended until Friday (13 April).

New exhibitors and those returning after an absence include fragrances and cosmetics companies Cartier, Ahava Dead Sea Laboratories, Kanebo Cosmetics, Stila, Rituals and The Body Shop. They will be joined by fashion brands Kering Eyewear, Marni and Thule Group, confectionery and fine food brand The East India Company, and Drink Tank in the wine and spirits category.

Some exhibitors will have two-storey stands, including Imperial Tobacco, JT International, Kering Eyewear, Moët Hennessy, P&G Global Travel Retail and William Grant & Sons.

“I’m thrilled that this year’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference is most certainly shaping up to be another successful event,” commented TFWA President Erik Juul-Mortensen. “We look forward to catching up with old friends as well as meeting new colleagues at what promises to be a great week in Singapore.”

Networking opportunities are available to delegates and exhibitors at the event via TFWA’s ONE2ONE pre-scheduled appointment service. The service provides a tailor-made opportunity for retailers, exhibiting brands and service concessionaires to meet with senior executives from Asia Pacific airports and airlines, as well as those from cruise and ferry companies.

Information on products, launches and the latest news from the show can be found on the TFWA Product Showcase web tool.
