Tess Harold named Editor of PretAirporter; Ahn Sang Joon joins The Moodie Davitt Report

INTERNATIONAL. Theresa (Tess) Harold has been appointed Editor of PretAirporter, The Moodie Davitt Report’s new B2C media for the travel shopping channel. She will also take charge of all the company’s social media activities.

Tess, who graduated with First Class Honours in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University, takes over from Helen Pawson, who will focus mainly on her key role as Brands Editor on The Moodie Davitt Report. Helen will continue as a major contributor to PretAirporter, along with Associate Editor and company beauty specialist Clare Austin, who will work across both titles.

Born in Hong Kong, Tess is an English and Cantonese speaker with extensive experience across consumer and B2B media, including Global Blue, Quintessentially, Luxury Briefing, Waldorf Astoria, Sunseeker, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, SHOP Magazine, Asia Spa, Prestige Hong Kong, Private Air and many other titles.

From Incheon to India to The Moodie Davitt Report

In another important gain for the company, Ahn Sang Joon has been named Asia Special Projects Editor for The Moodie Davitt Report. Ahn is one of Asia’s most experienced and respected airport commercial executives. Most recently he was Vice President – Commercial at Bangalore Airport, holding responsibility for business development and day-to-day operations of all commercial activities.

Before that he was Director of Concessions at Incheon International Airport in South Korea from 2013-2015, the culmination of a career with the country’s leading airport company that began in 1996. He has an Aviation MBA from Korea Aerospace University, and an Airport Management MBA from the National University of Singapore.

Ahn will handle a range of assignments for The Moodie Davitt Report in Asia, including high-level commercial articles and insight features. ‘The Ahn Interview’ will feature discussions with industry leaders right across the travel chain.
