‘Taste & Style’: Munich Airport hosts second international culinary festival

GERMANY. Munich Airport is celebrating the success of its ‘Taste & Style’ culinary festival. The event was held at the airport in cooperation with Germany’s biggest food festival eat&STYLE between 15 and 18 June.

The four-day event – a day longer than the inaugural festival – attracted approximately 150,000 visitors, who were able to sample the latest gourmet trends and watch celebrity chefs in action.

Regional and international specialities were offered in 35 stands and food trucks. This year’s featured theme was Spanish tapas and the ‘Marketplace of Delights’ featured sustainable food businesses, start-ups and small, artisanal operations.

On ‘World Tapas Day’ (15 June) Basque chef Alejandro Cepeda presented his latest ideas for creating tapas and Basque pintxo snacks. Live music was featured every evening.
