Taste of Japan: Sushi Taka opens at Hong Kong International Airport

HONG KONG. Global Link Retail Management has partnered with Michelin-starred Chef Takashi Saito to open Sushi Taka at Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1, as first flagged in our Image of the Day feature last week.

The Edomae-style sushi and sake bar opened on 31 December, as sister brand of Chef Saito’s three Michelin-starred (for 11 consecutive years) restaurant Sushi Saito in Tokyo.

The new sushi and sake restaurant in T1 imports fresh seafood, seasonal ingredients and specialist varieties of sushi rice from Japan each day; below, our images of the outlet just after opening day

Sushi Taka offers diners fine sushi, with signature tuna sourced from the Yamayuki group. It also imports fresh seafood, seasonal ingredients and specialist varieties of sushi rice from Japan each day.

The extensive sake offer includes rare items from leading Japanese wine industry group Hasegawa Saketen, to help create an authentic Japanese experience.
