Tasa Meng has launched the Dassai facial treatment mask at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport Terminal Two, marking the product’s travel retail debut.
Tasa Meng has been appointed Taiwan duty free and domestic market distributor for the line by brand owner Happy Project Inc.
Happy Project is a leading brand management company and consultancy that represents multiple local and foreign companies.
“This will be one of the most important launches during the COVID-19 period, as most of our customers are unable to travel due to quarantine restrictions,” Tasa Meng said.However, many Taiwanese passengers are flying to the US and Mainland China to have vaccine injections and enjoy their summer holiday due to a chronic shortage of vaccines in Taiwan.
After months of very low case numbers in Taiwan, the situation has deteriorated sharply with a resurgence of infections leading to tightened measures and strengthened social distancing. The Level 3 COVID-19 alert was recently extended to 28 June 2021.
