Sydney Airport unveils world’s largest Global Exchange bureaux

AUSTRALIA. Sydney Airport has opened what it says is the largest Global Exchange bureaux in the world at its T1 International terminal.

The 75sq m bureaux features over 69 foreign currencies, while digital touch screens showcase transactions in a range of languages. The airport said the services ensured “a user-friendly customer experience” and the opening was part of an overall improvement programme at the terminal.

The bureaux is the main point of collection for passengers who have purchased currency via Global Exchange’s online ordering system, and a free buy back offer is available.

“We’re thrilled to open the new Global Exchange flagship at T1, where passengers can take advantage of the highly convenient location to exchange currency and purchase travel money wallets before they head through to departures,” said Sydney Airport General Manager Retail Glyn Williams.
