Sydney Airport reveals Maison Christian Dior pop-up boutique in Australian first

AUSTRALIA. In an Australian first, Sydney Airport and Heinemann Tax & Duty Free have unveiled a Maison Christian Dior boutique at the International terminal (T1) [The Moodie Davitt Report’s Melody Ng is in Sydney for the opening; look out for her special report coming soon].

The brand’s new collection, exclusive to Sydney Airport in Australia, features 22 fragrances, scented candles and soaps. It is located within a pop-up unit inside the Heinemann Tax & Duty Free store.

Striking addition: The Maison Christian Dior pop-up will be a feature of the Heinemann Tax & Duty Free store until July

The pop-up, designed to evoke the look of a Parisian home, runs from May to July.

Sydney Airport General Manager Retail Glyn Williams said that Christian Dior is a brand “synonymous with luxury and sophistication” and aligns with Sydney Airport’s retail strategy of delivering the best of global and local brands.

“The Maison Christian Dior collection is an exceptional offering for Sydney Airport passengers; and we’re thrilled to be one of the few airports in the world and the only location in Australia to showcase this incredible boutique,” Williams said.

“We’re focused on delivering exciting and exclusive retail experiences that surprise and delight our customers as they make their way through our transformed terminal.”

Sydney Airport is one of just three airport locations across the Asia Pacific region – the others are Singapore Changi Airport and Shanghai Pudong Airport – to feature the Maison Christian Dior collection.

The range includes 22 fragrances plus soaps and candles, in what is only the third store at an Asia Pacific airport to house this collection
