Sydney Airport brings limited-time food concepts to T1 International arrivals

AUSTRALIA. Sydney Airport has begun rolling out limited-time food concepts in its T1 International arrivals forecourt. The aim is to enhance the passenger experience by adding variety to the food & beverage mix.

The first concept to feature is Volkswurst, a Volkswagen Kombi food truck offering authentic German sausages. It will be in place for the next fortnight.

Volkswurst’s menu features A$10 (US$7.20) smoked pork and beef kranskies and traditional Bavarian pork bratwursts, as well as a chilli-cheese kransky. All are served with a portion of sauerkraut.

Sydney Airport General Manager Retail Glyn Williams commented: “Volkswurst is a great cuisine concept for arriving passengers and staff to enjoy and reinforces our strategy to deliver the best of global and local.”
