The vibrancy of summer: The new collection features exotic floral motifs enhanced with brightly coloured crystals

Austrian crystal and jewellery house Swarovski unveiled its new summer collection this month. It is available in worldwide travel retail and on Swarovski.com.

The collection offers pieces in tropical motifs and vibrant rainbow hues. The designs feature bright green and pink crystals in oversized animal and foliage-inspired silhouettes.

A colourful exotic parrot is the main theme running through the collection and comes in a variety of striking designs.

Swarovski’s summer collection comprises the Tropical, Stunning, Swarovski Remix, Shimmering, Spectrum Shine and Spectacular lines.

The Tropical line offers exotic jewellery designs featuring leaves, flowers, and tropical birds in a vivid colour palette. The Stunning range recreates the leaves of rainforest plants such as the monstera and gingko, in Swarovski crystals.

The versatile Swarovski Remix collection allows customers to personalise their own jewellery designs with new Summer-inspired charms; while the Shimmering range offers bold and lively depictions of the collection’s exotic parrot motif.

The Spectrum Shine range was inspired by the rainbow and also represents respect, equality and diversity. The Spectacular line offers an elevated take on the chain trend. The highlight of the Spectacular line is an oversized brooch with sparkling pointiage balls.

The accompanying media campaign showcases the Swarovski parrot in a lush tropical setting. It is the final chapter in the brand’s Spring/Summer 2020 series.

Going strong on Globuy

As a lead business partner of The Moodie Davitt Report, Swarovski’s story has also appeared in Chinese and with a consumer voice on fast-growing Chinese B2C WeChat social media account Globuy [玩转全球免税], as part of a new collaboration between Globuy owner Extra-Aile Media in Shanghai and The Moodie Davitt Report.

Globuy aims to become “the KOL of Chinese travel retail” and already has 400,000 followers and a monthly audience of 1 million views for its WeChat social media platform promoting new launches, product availability, promotions and special offers. Underlining the strong affinity and complementary nature of the two companies work, Globuy has dubbed The Moodie Davitt Report “the KOL of travel retail B2B media”

Under the agreement, selected stories from The Moodie Davitt Report.com’s lead brand partners in beauty, fashion, luxury, confectionery and premium spirits are also published by Globuy in Chinese. These include product reviews by the Globuy team.

Globuy is promoting The Moodie Davitt Report’s platform to China’s travel retail sector and to its own consumer audience in China. The Moodie Davitt Report subsequently also publishes a curated selection of Chinese consumer feedback on the chosen stories and will reveal the results of regular consumer surveys conducted in association with Globuy.
