Swarovski celebrates 125th anniversary with Tasa Meng pop-up at Taoyuan Airport

TAIPEI. Swarovski is celebrating its 125th anniversary in style with Tasa Meng with a celebratory pop-up store at Taoyuan International Airport.

The pop-up  presents three new Swarovski collections: 125th Anniversary, Travel Exclusive and Fall/Winter 2020. It is open throughout September and October.

As reported, the two companies collaborated on the Swarovski Summer City Buzz store in 2019.

A sparkling celebration: The pop-up marks Swarovski’s 125th anniversary

“As we celebrate our company’s 125th birthday, we are extremely honoured to be able to partner with Tasa Meng again, and to indulge world travellers with some exclusive shopping experiences,” Swarovski Head of Travel Retail Eric Lejeune said. “It is also a great opportunity to showcase some of our dazzling collections at Taoyuan International Airport.”

Tasa Meng Corporation President Nancy Ku added: “We believe we will achieve another triumph this time, demonstrating Swarovski’s 125 years of refining craftsmanship at this special moment to our discerning customers.”

The 125th Anniversary collection embraces the brand’s legacy by reimagining some of the best-selling items in the company’s history. It features a vast variety of items that all highlight the sparkling timelessness of Swarovski, including an anniversary mouse figurine inspired by a model first available over 40 years ago.

Celebrating the spirit of wanderlust, the Travel Exclusive collection features 15 pieces, each featuring a bird, globe or swan motif. Accenting Swarovski elements and the ever-popular Swan line, the collection applies a modern touch to enduring motifs.

The Fall/Winter 2020 range draws inspiration from the vibrant glamour and self-expression of the 1970s. Earth tones meet vibrant pops of colour, with bold silhouettes that are infused with refined Swarovski crystal detailing. This is exemplified in the Twist series, which creates optical illusions in rings, bracelets and necklaces.

The pop-up will be dazzling travellers until the end of October

“Since being founded by Daniel Swarovski in 1895, our brand has never ceased to inspire. We are crystal clear that only through cutting-edge design and detailed craftsmanship will we continue to build many milestones in the years to come,” Lejeune added.
