Striking the right note: Luxury mechanical music house Reuge seeks partners in key markets

Luxury Swiss mechanical music house Reuge is seeking national distributors around the world to help build the company’s expanding community of followers.

Reuge was founded in 1865 by Charles Reuge in the village of Sainte-Croix village, then the centre of the nascent music box industry. Reuge managed to incorporate a musical cylinder and a miniature comb into a watch movement, the beginning of a long, proud and (always) independent journey.

CEO Kurt Kupper told The Moodie Davitt Report: “Reuge and its unique pieces of mechanical music and automatons are finding an increasing community of lovers and customers. However, this means that we deal more and more from our headquarters in Switzerland with consumers in many different countries.

“In order to streamline this and serve the clients better we are currently searching for experienced companies already working in the field of high end products in their respective country as national distributors.”

(Above and below) Reuge produces a range of exquisite mechanical music pieces. Designs, models and tunes can be tailored specifically as corporate or personal gifts.
