Stellar Partners makes debut at Baltimore/Washington International Airport

USA. Stellar Partners is opening three stores at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, after striking a partnership with retail developer Fraport USA.

The stores include Baltimore’s well-known White House Black Market brand, athleisure brand Marika’s first standalone store, and Stellar News, which will be run by Stellar and Morgan Group Ventures, Inc. (MGV) as part of a joint venture.

Athleisure brand Marika opens its first store (it is mainly sold online or through other retailers) with Stellar Partners.

“We’re dedicated to bringing the traveller shopping options that make for a quality experience,” said Fraport Maryland Vice President Brett Kelly. “Part of the reason we chose Stellar and MGV was because of the great brand partnerships and operations experience they have. We’re proud to introduce Stellar to the programme and equally excited bring these new brands to the BWI lineup.”

“This retail offering is designed specifically with the BWI Marshall Airport traveller in mind. The Stellar team is passionate about providing top brands and exceptional customer service in our expanding collection of stores, which is why joining the BWI Airport family is such an exciting milestone for Stellar,” said Stellar Partners President and CEO Padraig Drennan. “We thank Fraport USA and the Maryland Aviation Administration for the opportunity to serve the airport’s growing passenger base.”

This contract also expands the reach of Stellar in-house travel essentials brand Stellar News.
  • Now open in the A/B food court, athleisure brand Marika offers yoga-inspired apparel and accessories for men and women in a 1,058sq ft space.
  • In March, travel convenience brand Stellar News will open a 1,259sq ft news and gift store in the A/B food court.
  • In April, White House Black Market will open, featuring fashion items for women. Located in the A/B food court, the 966sq ft store will also carry a range of Soma underwear.
Women’s fashion brand White House Black Market is well known in Baltimore and adds a point of difference to the airport offer (pictured is a shot from its Spring catalogue).
