SSP UK & Ireland announces changes to Executive Team

UK & IRELAND. SSP UK & Ireland has announced a series of new appointments within its Executive Team. Three involve existing senior members of staff, while the other sees Graham Wood join the business as UK & Ireland Property Director from Pret A Manger.

Fi Butcher, who has been with SSP UK & Ireland for over eight years – most recently as Commercial and Marketing Director – switches to the position of Dublin Managing Director.

In her new role, Butcher will continue to oversee marketing functions, including food development, creative, brand development, and concept creation and mobilisation.

Andy Webb, the current Business Development Director of SSP UK & Ireland, will be promoted to Commercial Director from 3 October. He will take responsibility for the Commercial, Supply Chain and Procurement teams.

Webb will continue to lead the Rail Gourmet business as Managing Director.

Following Webb’s promotion, Cathy Granby will be promoted to the SSP UK & Ireland Executive Team as Business Development Director.

SSP noted that Granby will bring her extensive experience in operations – having been Operations Director for Air – and business development as well as her long-standing knowledge of SSP’s business to her new position. She has been with the business for more than 17 years.

Meanwhile, Wood will take up his new position on 26 September after 13 years as Global Property Director at Pret. In that role, SSP noted that he helped grow the business internationally, playing a key role in the acquisition of EAT.

At Pret he was responsible for acquisition, design, construction, estates management, maintenance, facilities, and health & safety.
