INTERNATIONAL. Leading travel food concessionaire SSP Group has renewed its support as a Platinum Partner of the annual Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) Conference and Awards, which will be held in Dallas on 26-27 June. This year’s event will be hosted by Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. SSP is also sponsoring the Welcome Cocktail.
FAB, which is dedicated to the burgeoning travel-related food and beverage sector, attracts senior representatives from the world’s leading airports and F&B providers to network with industry colleagues, share best practice and insights.
SSP Group CEO Kate Swann said: “The food and beverage offer in an airport plays a fundamental role in delivering an excellent experience for passengers and reflecting the character of the city which it serves. Standards have never been higher, and The Moodie Davitt Report FAB event is the perfect opportunity to celebrate our successes and share our vision for how we can continue to evolve.
“SSP is proud to have been involved with the FAB Conference & Awards since its inception in 2011, and we are delighted to again continue our support this year as a Platinum sponsor. We’re especially pleased the event is being hosted by Dallas Fort Worth Airport, where SSP America has had a long-term presence.”
Full details on the event, including programme information, hotel reservation link and conference registration details, are available at http://airportfab.events. Nominations for the annual FAB Awards, a cornerstone of the event, closed last Friday.
Owned and organised by The Moodie Davitt Report and sister title The Foodie Report, FAB is the world’s only dedicated airport food and beverage event. Since its launch in 2011, FAB has flourished and become the key global gathering for a constantly evolving sector, serving as a litmus test of its challenges, opportunities and quality aspirations.
Other confirmed sponsors of FAB 2019 so far include Autogrill and HMSHost (Platinum Partner and Gala Dinner sponsor), Lagardère Travel Retail (Silver Partner) and HWH Hospitality Investments (Bronze Partner). Additional partners include Grab, MAG Hospitality, Reco-Air, Tea Forté, Travel Food Services and TRG Concessions.
