SSP enters Israeli market with Camden food co. openings at Ben Gurion

ISRAEL. SSP Group is to open two Camden food co. outlets at Ben Gurion International Airport. It will be the food & beverage operator’s debut in the Israeli market.

On 1 November, SSP will take over the running of the two existing outlets at the airport. One will be rebranded for immediate trading, and the other will be rebuilt for re-opening in early 2018.

Right place: SSP believes Camden is the “ideal brand” for the airport

Both outlets will offer a range of local dishes, SSP said, such as Israeli-style breakfasts. The company will also offer dishes designed to appeal to an international audience.

“With its focus on fresh foods and local products, Camden is an ideal brand for the airport,” said SSP UK CEO Simon Smith.

“We are delighted to be establishing a presence in this important market, and we very much look forward to developing relationships with our partners in Israel.”
