Singapore Changi Airport awards latest mid-price fashion contracts in Terminal 1

SINGAPORE. Changi Airport Group has named the winners of four mid-price brand name fashion concessions at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1.

UA Sports, representing sports and lifestyle brand Under Armour, won concession A; Dufry partnered with Samsonite to capture concession B; RSH Singapore will open a Lacoste store (concession C) and Barcode Marketing will run a Pazzion store (concession D).

Singapore Changi Airport: The latest phase in its leasing drive adds four new mid-price fashion concessions.

As reported, the airport company called for bids in August through a Direct Marketing Exercise. The units are located on Level 2 in Departure/Transit Lounge West.

The shop spaces range in size from 70sq m to 110sq m. The concessions run for three years each, and all begin in April 2019. There is no option for renewal at the end of the contracts.

The awards come amid a major period of leasing for Changi Airport’s key concessions. As reported, the airport recently awarded 11 luxury leases in T3, and DFS (liquor & tobacco) and Shilla (beauty) recently gained two-year extensions to their six-year concessions from 2020.
