Whether it be the most dazzling Christmas installations in the airport world, a cultural showpiece or an exuberant celebration of Chinese New Year, Hong Kong feels like an airport with a heartbeat, a crossroads of humanity, culture, technology and aviation.

During Chinese New Year, there will be complimentary gift wrapping services at the Departures East Hall redemption counters in the restricted area (near Tiffany & Co.) and red packets at redemption counters. HKIA’s mascot will tour the seasonally decorated airport in Chinese New Year attire to meet and greet travellers and take snapshots with them.

In addition, a lion dance performance will be held on 1 February, showcasing traditional Chinese culture and tradition.

During the promotion period, HKIA will collaborate with retailers to provide shopping and dining offers. Travellers can find out more by scanning the QR code on promotion materials or visiting the airport website.
