Shiseido will reintroduce its Future LX skincare collection for autumn/winter 2017, which has a new anti-ageing ingredient, at next week’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition (stand B20).
The skincare line now includes SkingenecellEnmei, a combination of Enmei herb (or Isodon herb), Skingenecell 1P and vitamin C ethyl II. The formula is said to bring out the healing power of skin cells from their source, regenerating skin from within while renewing damaged skin.
Shiseido Future Solution LX also contains Japanese botanical ingredients such as premium green tea extract, hokkaido angelica root extract and oshima sakura leaf extract, which reinforce SkingenecellEnmei’s effect of regenerating cells.
The range has a white floral fragrance containing notes of Japanese flowers, including cherry blossom, plum blossom and Japanese rose.
The Shiseido Future Solution LX collection is said to work best as a holistic ritual, by supplying skin with SkingenecellEnmei day and night through the Beauty Longevity System, which includes:
Extra Rich Cleansing Foam E (125ml) – A cleansing foam that leaves skin feeling fresh and smooth. The cleanser lifts away impurities without disturbing skin’s essential moisture balance and prepares skin to receive the full benefits of softening lotion, according to the brand.
Concentrated Balancing Softener E (170ml) – An enriched softening lotion that features Shiseido’s exclusive 4MSK and TMG to target the causes of uneven contours, such as thickening and roughness. The product is claimed to refine skin texture and make pores become less visible to deliver brighter, smoother skin and a youthful look.
Total Protective Cream E (50ml / SPF20 PA++++) and Total Protective Emulsion E (75ml / SPF20 PA++++) – Multi-functional daytime cream and emulsion with premium sansho extract to enhance skin’s natural self-protective Daytime Defense Gene. The product helps to protect skin from daytime aggressors like UV rays, dryness, oxidation and pollutants, and provides lasting moisturisation.
Total Regenerating Cream E (50ml) – A rich, intensive night cream that renews skin’s vitalising forces with the line’s highest amount of SkingenecellEnmei Complex. It contains burnet extract to supplement the skin’s Nighttime Defense Gene to optimise the environment for skin’s age-resisting functions while sleeping.
Eye & Lip Contour Regenerating Cream E (17ml) – Designed to target the sensitive skin around the eyes and lips, the hydrating cream is said to absorb ‘instantly’ and visibly diminish dark circles.
Intensive Firming Contour Serum (50ml) – This skin tightening serum is enhanced with SkingenecellEnmei technology and Japanese botanicals to create supple, moisture-filled skin. According to Shiseido, Licorice extract promotes the regeneration of the skin’s dermal anchor structure, effectively supporting the facial contours to prevent and improve visible sagging due to age and damage.
The new Shiseido Future Solution LX range will also include four travel retail exclusives (TREX) sets:

All four travel retail-exclusive sets will launch in travel retail Asia Pacific and the Americas from August. Protective & Regenerating Day & Night, Protective & Regenerating Program and Essentials will launch in Europe, the Middle East and Africa travel retail in October.
The full Future LX skincare collection (excluding travel retail exclusives) will be available in the Americas and Asia Pacific travel retail in August. The following five products will launch in travel retail Europe, Middle East and Africa in September: Extra Rich Cleansing Foam E, Concentrated Balancing Softener E, Total Protective Cream E, Total Regenerating Cream E and Eye & Lip Contour Regenerating Cream E.
