CHINA.Shiseido Travel Retail has partnered with China Duty Free Group (CDFG) to light up Haitang Bay in a spectacular celebration of the New Year.
On 1 January, the 300-strong drone show illuminated the sky above the Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex with a dazzling choreographed sequence that took Shiseido’s visual story-telling to new heights.
The 15-minute display showcased various Shiseido and CDFG symbols including the Japanese brand’s camellia emblem, its Ultimune Serum line and the tiger, the 2022 Lunar New Year zodiac animal.
The performance kicked off Shiseido’s own 150th anniversary celebrations and further deepened its partnership with CDFG, the brand owner said in a press statement.
Shiseido was founded in 1872 as Japan’s first Western-style pharmacy. To mark its 150 years the company restated its mission to use the ‘power of beauty’ to bring happiness to consumers.
Looking ahead, Shiseido vowed to celebrate all forms of beauty, empower people from all walks of life and contribute towards a sustainable future.
