Shake Shack and Fraport unveil new restaurant at Cleveland Hopkins International

USA. US roadside burger stand company Shake Shack has opened a new restaurant in partnership with Fraport Cleveland in Cleveland Hopkins International Airport’s main terminal food court.

It is the latest in a series of openings for the brand in airport locations, which also include Singapore Changi and, as recently reported, at Dallas Forth Worth International.

The new restaurant – the brand’s second location in the Cleveland area – will serve dishes including 100% Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches, flat-top dogs, crinkle-cut fries, milkshakes and frozen custards.

The latest Shake Shack opening is located in the main terminal food court at Cleveland Hopkins International.

The company said that all of its beef, chicken, and pork products are 100% natural with no added hormones or antibiotics. Shake Shack also uses cage-free eggs and non-GMO potato buns.

There is also an extensive breakfast menu (served between 4am and 10.30am), including griddled egg and cheese sandwiches, cold brews and Stumptown Shack coffee, roasted in Brooklyn.

Fraport Cleveland Vice President Tina LaForte said: “We’re pleased to bring this wildly popular casual dining concept to the airport and offer passengers more of what they crave on the go.

“Shake Shack is known for delicious, freshly-made food and premium ingredients. It’s perfect for today’s tastes.”

Shake Shack’s vanilla and chocolate custards are made with real sugar and milk from dairy farmers who pledge never to use growth hormones.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport Director Robert Kennedy added: “Shake Shack puts a new spin on classic American food. The response has been outstanding.

“We are thrilled to welcome this critically acclaimed eatery to the airport and offer travellers a fresh take on foods they grew up with.”
