SOUTH KOREA. Lotte Duty Free has partnered with three South Korean mobile operators to offer retail discounts and other benefits.
SK Telecom and KT Corporation customers will start receiving discounts dependent on their membership level from 9 September, and LG Uplus customers from 16 September.
‘Gold’ level clients of each carrier will gain Lotte Duty Free ‘VIP Gold’ status and can enjoy a maximum discount of -15% instore. They will also receive ‘Platinum Plus’ status for Lotte’s online store, which is operated separately from the VIP membership system. This will entitle them to discounts of up to -20%.
‘Silver’ level clients will get discounts of up to -10% instore and -15% online with ‘Prime’ status.
As part of the promotion, customers of the three mobile operators will also receive other benefits such as roaming data or other gifts.
Lotte Duty Free will offer special benefits to customers departing to Tokyo in Japan, including subway tickets and downtown store vouchers.
