RUSSIA. SarAero-Invest has announced a series of retail and food & beverage tenders for Saratov Gagarin International Airport, which is set to begin operations in September.

Six of the retail tenders are for a period of two years. These are: an 18.7sqm souvenirs store; two convenience stores of 21sq m and 22.2sq m; a 16.3sqm pharmacy; a 17.2sqm gastronomy unit; and a 25.15sqm jewellery and accessories store.

Two further lots are for 50sq m and 65sq m stores offering a range of fashion, cosmetics, leathergoods, sunglasses and toys. These units can be combined into a 115sq m unit and are available on a lease term of between two and three years.

Interested parties can submit bids in one or more of the above lots.

The food & beverage tenders are for a lease term of either three or five years. Landside, a 264sq m area has been set aside for a family restaurant offering national cuisine, while a coffee house and bakery is envisaged for a 120sq m space. The latter could encompass two levels, SarAero-Invest said.

The F&B units in departures are two family restaurants offering national cuisine and including a bar in 273sq m and 178sq m of space, and a 160sq m coffee house and bakery.

Other formats may be implemented instead of any of the F&B concepts described above if agreed with the landlord.

SarAero-Invest said it was also planning to install up to 40 vending machines at the airport, offering snacks and beverages.
