CHINA. SAMDecaux has introduced the media portfolio for the new Satellite Terminal at Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
The joint venture between Shanghai International Airport, JCDecaux, Pearl & Dean and Shanghai Momentum said the advertising offer in the new terminal has been designed with the rapidly progressing Chinese economy in mind. This has resulted in a highly digitalised media offering, which utilises innovative technology.
A series of 85-inch and 98-inch 4k high-definition screens with patented appearances has been installed in the boarding hall.
Additionally, several four-sided ‘Infinity Digital Pillars’ including high-definition LED modules have been set up at key entrance points to the terminal.
The commercial area of nearly 10,000sq m at the centre of the Satellite Terminal is a focal point for the advertising activity. This area features 12 lightboxes and the free-standing ‘Domination Digital Series’.
SAMDecaux said: “Through technological innovation and guaranteed quality, SAMDecaux will continue to smartly set sail with Shanghai Airport, focusing on ‘Shanghai Service’ to enhance the passenger experience.”
More pictures and a video of the advertising portfolio for the Shanghai Pudong Satellite Terminal will appear in the next issue of Sight Lines, the new title from The Moodie Davitt Report dedicated to airport advertising and communications, which will be published in November.
