PERU. Safe Bag has won a tender to provide its luggage protection and tracing services at Lima Jorge Chavèz International Airport.

The company, which provides services from luggage wrapping to lost baggage tracing to travel products and accessories, will open four units beginning in February 2018. The contract runs for five years.

Lima is the largest airport in Peru and the sixth busiest in South America, with more than 19 million passengers in 2016.

“Winning the Lima contract is recognition of the validity of our commercial and technical offer and confirms the great development potential of the group, still to be tapped,” said Safe Bag CEO Alessandro Notari.

Safe Bag has airport outlets in Italy, France, Portugal, Switzerland, USA, Canada, Poland and Brazil, covering around 100 points of sale.
