Products in The Ritual of Ayurveda line contain the ancient Ayurvedic ingredients Himalaya honey and Indian rose. The Hand Balm, featuring shea butter and moisturiser panthenol, is said to soothe and soften dry hands. Hand Lotion hydrates hands and Hand Scrub contains emollients such as shea butter and sillica which restore skin’s elasticity and moisture balance.

The Ritual of Sakura Hand Balm and Hand Balm SPF15 contain rice milk and cherry blossom for a sweet aroma. Hand Balm SPF15 offers sun protection and anti-ageing and can be used on top of the Hand Balm, according to Rituals.

The Ritual of Dao products combine the mild aroma of white lotus with skin-soothing qualities of yi yi ren. The full line comprises Hand Balm, enriched with shea butter and panthenol, Night Balm and Hand Scrub.

The Ritual of Samurai Hands Free gel and Hand Lotion are formulated with organic bamboo and sea minerals, which are claimed to regulate moisture balance. Hands Free gel contains castor oil to soften skin. Rituals recommends using hydrating Hand Lotion afterwards.

Rituals Director Wholesale Neil Ebbutt commented. “Rituals’ brand philosophy is to develop products based on traditional Eastern rituals that transform a routine into a meaningful ritual and the new Hand Care Collection is a great example.

“All nine new products come in 50ml or 70ml sizes so customers can take them through security at the next airport and use them inflight when skin tends to dehydrate. It’s a collection designed to strengthen our reputation for bringing authentic products with a difference, and a relevance, to the travel retail customer.”
