Retail boost as MSC Cruises brings two more ships back into service

INTERNATIONAL. MSC Cruises has brought two more vessels, MSC Armonia and MSC Lirica, back into service as the company’s encouraging bounce back from the pandemic-driven sector crisis of the past two years continues.

“We are sailing once again on these two wonderful ships with our retail teams back in action once more as MSC ships number 15 and 16 came back to service in the last two days,” said MSC Cruises Head of Retail Adrian Pittaway in a LinkedIn post.

The Armonia is sailing in the east Mediterranean while Lirica is plying a new route between Greece, Turkey and Israel.

“Sixteen out of 19 ships are now back in full service; we are now just two months away from a full MSC family,” said Pittaway. “Stay tuned for the final three… Opera, Poesia and Musica.”
