Making a fashion statement: Reopening drive stepped up at Frankfurt Airport Terminal 1

GERMANY. Several leading international luxury brands have reopened their stores at Frankfurt Airport Terminal 1.

In Pier B non-Schengen, Versace, Hermés, Burberry, Hugo Boss, MCM, Longchamp and Montblanc have all reopened. In Pier Z, both Hermés and Gucci have returned. Several stores across the terminal have also undergone renovations.

The airport operator, Fraport, added that the demand for retail concessions at the hub airport has not been dimmed by the COVID-19 pandemic, with leading brands wanting to maintain their presence there.

“As soon as the aviation sector recovers and passenger volumes increase, the whole world will come together here again,” said Fraport Vice President Retail Key Account Management Nina Kristin Gür. “Passengers from Asia and the US are especially drawn to major brands and love that Frankfurt Airport hosts such a wide variety of them.”
