Renovated Privium ClubLounge West reopens at Schiphol Airport

THE NETHERLANDS. Privium ClubLounge West has reopened at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol with a striking new look.

The facility – previously known as Privium Airside Lounge – was dismantled and reconstructed into a larger space featuring new amenities.

Privium ClubLounge West has been redesigned by Amsterdam spatial and conceptual design agency D/DOCK

The lounge has been fitted out with individual workstations, improved food & beverage services, a shower, a hand spa and more power outlets for electronic device charging.

‘Northern Lights’ has been used as the central theme for the interior design of the new lounge, a concept which originates from the Privium brand identity. This has influenced the selection of materials, colours and lighting.

The new open façade means more natural light, and dynamic lighting has been installed in the ceiling above several areas. This lighting changes throughout the day, to create what the airport describes as “an optimally relaxed atmosphere”.

The lounge is located between piers E and F in the terminal and is intended for non-Schengen travellers.
