Rémy Cointreau makes regional travel retail marketing appointment

EUROPE. Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail has announced the appointment of Anne-Laure Chandesris-Saunier to the role of GTR Europe, Middle East and Africa Marketing Manager.

Chandesris-Saunier will report to Europe, Middle East and Africa GTR Director Simon Roffe.

She joined Rémy Cointreau in early 2009 as International Marketing Director for Metaxa after eight years in market research and eight years in strategic and operational marketing for companies such as Anheuser-Busch InBev and IFF.

During her three years working on the Metaxa brand, she successfully launched the new Metaxa 12 Stars in domestic and travel retail markets. She also led the creative team which developed the “˜Sunball’ drink ritual – a lit-up yellow “˜sun’ orb lighting the glass – for the on-trade signature drink “˜Metaxa Suntonic’.

She was also behind the new Metaxa Academy for immersion staff training, which is due to be opened this spring.

Reporting to Chandesris-Saunier are Laura Lagière, Trade Marketing Manager North & East Europe and Laetitia Letellier, Trade Marketing Manager West & South Europe.
