Rémy Cointreau appoints Fida Bou Chabke as CEO, Global Travel Retail; Alice Hoffman named Marketing Director for the channel

In addition to her new travel retail leadership role, Fida Bou Chabke will continue to drive Rémy Cointreau’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion programme

Rémy Cointreau has named Fida Bou Chabke CEO, Global Travel Retail effective 1 July, based in Singapore.

Bou Chabke has spent six years with the French Cognac to liqueur drinks house, most recently as Vice President General Manager of Louis XIII in the Americas since April 2021.

Before that she held roles as Managing Director Hong Kong and Taiwan from June 2017 until July 2020 when she became Managing Director Latin America, the Caribbean and Travel Retail Americas.

In her new role, Bou Chabke will assume responsibility for developing the performance and market presence of Rémy Cointreau’s brand portfolio within the key global travel retail channel. In addition, she will continue to lead on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in conjunction with the company’s Management Committee.

Rémy Cointreau expressed its gratitude to current CEO – Global Travel Retail Adam Hamzah for his dedicated service and valuable contributions over the past four years. Hamzah is pursuing other personal interests.

In related news, the company has appointed Alice Hoffman as Marketing Director for Global Travel Retail.

Hoffman will also be based in Singapore and report to Bou Chabke. She brings 14 years of experience with Rémy Cointreau, having held various brand management roles across the portfolio. Most recently, she served as the Global Brand Director for Cointreau, based in Paris. ✈
