Qatar Duty Free opens third gold store at Hamad International Airport

QATAR. Qatar Duty Free today announced the opening of its third gold store at Hamad International Airport (HIA) in Doha.

The retailer described the new shop as its “most exciting and luxurious yet”, showcasing over 15,000 pieces of traditional and modern gold and diamond jewellery.

Pieces range from 9ct to 24ct in yellow gold, white gold, diamond and precious stone-studded jewellery. In addition to ready-made jewellery, the store also sells single gemstones and loose diamonds.

The 119sq m store, designed in the shape of the figure 8 by a local architect, is the biggest of the three HIA outlets. The 24/7 boutique is in the Grand Hall, behind the airport’s central feature, the giant Urs Fischer Lamp Bear, making it easily visible and accessible to all passengers.

The shop is open 24/7.
