‘Pure, birth, transformation’: Paradies Lagardère brings Shinsei to Dallas Forth Worth

USA. Paradies Lagardère has opened a Shinsei restaurant at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). The Terminal D outlet is Paradies Lagardère’s fourth dining concept at the airport.

The first Shinsei (meaning pure, rebirth and transformation in Japanese) restaurant opened in Dallas over ten years ago. Offering sushi and pan-Asian cuisine, it was the brainchild of Chefs Lynae Fearing and Tracy Rathbun and has proven popular with locals.

Introducing a Dallas institution: Shinsei offers a “soothing, sophisticated vibe”.

Paradies Lagardère Vice President of Operations, Food and Beverage Cassie Nelson said: “Paradies Lagardère partners with popular concepts to bring the familiar quality, taste and atmosphere of a favorite local restaurant into an airport.

“Shinsei’s exciting and eclectic food and cocktail menu, and soothing, sophisticated vibe, reflected in the restaurant’s space and décor, will appeal to travellers. We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to bring Shinsei to DFW.”

Shinsei Founders Lynae Fering (left) and Tracy Rathbun describe the outlet as an “incredible opportunity”.

Shinsei Founders Fearing and Rathbun commented: “We are so excited to expand the Shinsei brand into DFW airport; this is an incredible opportunity.

“Shinsei has become a Dallas institution, and it will be great to be able to enjoy that when travelling in and out of DFW airport. What a great place to get fresh and healthy cuisine when you’re travelling.”

Pan-Asian favourites and sake are all part of the Shinsea experience at DFW.

Shinsei serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast menu includes Chicken Sausage Breakfast Wrap, with chicken apple sausage, fried rice, vegetables, and scallions, Avocado Toast and Steel Cut Oatmeal.

The dinner and lunch menu was inspired by the original street location and includes sushi Lover’s Roll with salmon, cucumber, mango, cilantro and jalapeño; and Shinsei Sashimi, with yellowtail albacore, jalapeño, and avocado. Entrees include Shrimp Dumplings with steamed, spicy lemongrass and dipping sauce, and Bento Boxes with fish, beef and vegetables, served with Yama’s house salad, steamed rice, and choice of a Spicy Tuna, California or Cucumber Roll.

Shinsei also offers a range of sake, wine, beer and cocktails such as the Blood Orange Margarita with El Jimador Reposado tequila, blood orange purée, and fresh lime juice.

Shinsei means pure, rebirth and transformation in Japanese.
