US. Proximo Spirits has unveiled a ‘World of Tequila’ activation with DFS at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) Terminal 4. It will run throughout November and the peak holiday period.
The 700sq ft pop-up is a colourful showcase of some of the world’s best tequila brands all in one engaging and interactive space.
A first for the company, World of Tequila introduces travellers at JFK to the vast range of premium and luxury tequila expressions from Jose Cuervo, Gren Centenario, Maestro Dobel (the world’s first Cristalino tequila) and 1800, the world’s most awarded tequila brand. Prices range up to US$165.
Eight premium tequilas are showcased in the space, which offers a dynamic and engaging drinking experience targeted at high-end spirit drinkers. The experience, led by a team of brand educators, is designed to re-shape the way travellers enjoy premium spirits.
In addition to a wide range of sampling experiences, travellers can enter a prize draw with the chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to Mexico.
“We are delighted to see so many of our innovative tequila variants on display in such impressive surroundings amongst the famous, world-class brands in John F. Kennedy International Airport,” commented Proximo Spirits Head of Global Travel Retail Roy Summers.
“As the growth of luxury tequila in the travel retail continues to go from strength-to-strength, we’re delighted to be able to offer such an extensive range of fine tequilas and introduce how luxury tequila should be experienced to international and domestic travellers.”
