Prestige spirits powerhouse – The Dalmore unveils King Alexander III Lunar New Year edition

Whyte & Mackay has revealed a special edition of The Dalmore single malt Scotch whisky for Lunar New Year.

The King Alexander III Lunar New Year 2023 Limited Edition is currently available with leading travel retailers including Lotte Duty Free (Singapore), China Duty Free Group (Hainan and Hong Kong), DFS Group (Macau), Dufry (London Heathrow) and Dubai Duty Free, along with Fortier Wines & Spirits at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, while stocks last. It is also available in selected domestic market locations.

Presented in a special gift box decorated in ornate red and gold, the packaging carries a representation of the lanterns which form a key part of the holiday celebration.

Whyte & Mackay said the special edition adds to The Dalmore’s prestige offer “which has fuelled the malt category growth by recruiting and trading up modern luxury shoppers”.

The Dalmore is the only rare luxury malt brand with 70% of its expressions commanding a prestige-plus price (above US$200), the company noted.
