UK travel retail supplier Premier Portfolio is returning to the TFWA World Exhibition with new products and extensions to its popular airline logoed collections (Green, M44).
A collaboration with Ritter Sport marks Premier Portfolio’s move into the confectionery category, as it highlights the German brand’s ‘Play with Me’ chocolate game. As reported, the pack offers four flavours – Cornflakes, Strawberry Crème, Butter Biscuit and Milk Chocolate – and a re-usable Tic-Tac-Toe game.
Premier Portfolio Sales Director Garry Maxwell underlined the product’s potential as an impulse inflight purchase.
A detailed stewardess figure, complete with accessories, is also new to the Premier Portfolio line-up of specialised and logoed airline products. The collectable figurine is on a detachable stand and is designed as a toy and as a display item.
“We believe there is a gap in the market for a product such as this,” Maxwell said, emphasising its appeal to inflight and airline website sales.
Emirates is a new partner in the Premier Portfolio range of licensed airplane toys and accessories. The company already collaborates with British Airways, KLM, Virgin Atlantic and SAS.
“The growth of this area has been strong for us and the results reflect not only toy sales but souvenir impulse purchases and many operators are starting to see the potential and the incremental business of this category,” Maxwell said.
At Cannes, the distributor will also introduce the WetBrush Detangler and a Pop & Go Brush and feature Revolut, the fee-free spending concept it recently introduced.
Its portfolio also includes exclusive gift sets – Age-Defying Eye Rescue, Daily De-Age Lips + Eyes and The Marine Miracle Collection – from Transformulas, a UK cosmeceutical brand specialising in anti-ageing and skincare products.
