CHINA. Pre-registration has opened for the third TFWA China’s Century Conference, to be held in partnership with the Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association (APTRA).
The conference will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Guangzhou from 7 to 9 March 2017. Pre-registration is open until 15 February at tfwa.com.

TFWA President Erik Juul-Mortensen said: “The programme will explore the latest infrastructure developments and commercial opportunities in China, while also charting the development of Chinese consumer preferences and the forces shaping and disrupting retail in the country.
“With contributions from prominent airport, airline and retail stakeholders such as Shanghai Airport Authority, DFS Group, China Southern Airlines, Lagardère Travel Retail, HNA Group, Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, King Power Group (HK), Starboard Cruise Services and more, the debate will doubtless be well-informed as well as lively.”
Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is the event’s official host. Official sponsors include DFS Group, which will also host the gala dinner, and platinum partner Lagardère Travel Retail.
