Prague Airport tenders foreign exchange and financial services concession

CZECH REPUBLIC. Prague Airport is tendering a key financial services concession, which includes foreign exchange, VAT refund and ATM services. The contract will run for five years from 1 December.

At stake are 11 service locations and 18 ATMs across terminals 1 and 2, with a five-year contract available. Terminal 1 houses five counters: one in arrivals (airside), one in the arrivals hall (public area), two in departures (public area) and one in the departure/transit hall. There are a further four staff facilities plus seven ATMs.

Prague Airport is tendering some key concessions, with a multi-location financial services contract available currently.

In T2 there are six counter locations. Three are located in arrivals (Customs zone), one lies in the departures hall (public area), one in arrivals (public area) and one in the transit hall. There are a further three staff facilities and 11 ATMs.

The submission deadline for the tender is 17 August.

As reported, Prague Airport is planning a major capacity expansion in the years ahead, with an extension of Terminal 2 a key element.

Prague Airport handled 15.4 million travellers in 2017, a leap of +18% year-on-year, with a forecast of 16.8 million in 2018.
