POLAND. The state-owned operator of Poznan Airport has launched a tender for 17 retail and food & beverage outlets in terminals 2 and 3.

The outlets will occupy a total surface area of more than 900sq m and, with the exception of one unit, the commercial space is located in the publicly available part of the Polish airport.

Flemingo-owned travel retailer Baltona is the main retail concessionaire at Poznan Airport

The available outlets include seven food & beverage locations with surface areas of 16,47sq m, 20sq m, 41.86sq m, 56.2sq m, 70sq m, 70.8sq m and 318.3sq m respectively, as well as a 30sq m outdoor café.

Of the available outlets, six are located on the ground floor and three on the first floor of Terminal 2. Six are available on the ground floor of Terminal 3, one outside Terminal 3, and a further unit in the arrivals hall of the terminal. Tender participants can apply for either selected outlets or for a total lot of 17 outlets.

The tender procedure will comprise three stages: the submission of initial offers, negotiations between potential applicants and the airport operator, and the submission of final offers. Initial offers must be filed by 31 August. Applicants are also allowed to set up consortia and submit joint offers.

“The contract will be concluded for a non-determined period, but it will not be possible to terminate it earlier than five years after it was signed,” the operator said.

Located in the west of Poland, Poznan Airport is operated by local company Port Lotniczy Poznan-Ławica Ltd. The airport reported a record passenger volume of 1.71 million in 2016, a year-on-year increase of +14%.
