Plaza Premium Group Heathrow expansion gathers pace with Terminal 3 lounge

Freshen up: Shower facilities are available at the lounge

UK. Plaza Premium Group is continuing its dedicated expansion at Heathrow Airport with the opening of a new lounge in Terminal 3 Arrivals.

Plaza Premium Group said the decision to open a new lounge landside comes following extensive market research and monitoring of the terminal, which welcomes guests from over 110 long haul flights daily.

The lounge has a 28-person seating capacity and features ‘generous’ food & beverage facilities as part of its lounge use packages. A wide variety of international newspapers and magazines, satellite television channels, unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi and a pressing service are also available.

In line with Heathrow’s continuous efforts to increase its Airport Service Quality (ASQ) rating, Plaza Premium Group has worked to improve its lounges and facilities by investing significantly in showers. Plaza Premium Lounge Terminal 3 Arrivals offers 11 spacious shower rooms.

Plaza Premium Group UK and Europe General Manager Pauline Cheung said: “Our Arrivals lounges are designed to bring comfort, convenience and value to passengers. We are delighted to open the doors to another lounge in Heathrow and are proud to continue our expansion plans at the largest and busiest airport in Europe.

“We have received excellent feedback in regards to the Arrivals lounges in Terminals 2 and 4 and we are sure the Terminal 3 Arrivals lounge will be met with high praise too.

“A quiet space to fully refresh”: The lounge offers international newspapers, Wi-Fi and F&B facilities

“Having arrivals lounges benefits passengers and those who are waiting in the terminal, which enables us to further enhance the experience of travelling for all.”

Plaza Premium Group currently has Arrivals lounges in both Terminals 2 and 4 at Heathrow. The Arrivals lounge in Terminal 4 opened in March this year and with 75 person capacity features a lounge and bar area, as well as meeting room facilities.

Heathrow Head of Property John Arbuckle commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Plaza Premium to Terminal 3 and offer our arriving passengers a quiet space to fully refresh; a service which has proved really popular in Terminals 2 and 4.”

Plaza Premium Group’s Terminal 2 Departures lounge was recently ranked number one in the World’s Best Independent Airport Lounge category at the 2017 Skytrax World Airline Awards.
