Plaza Premium Group completes full set of Heathrow terminal openings with latest lounge

UK. Plaza Premium Group has opened a passenger lounge in London Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 5.

The 465sq m Plaza Premium Lounge is the company’s first there. It now has at least one lounge in each of Heathrow’s terminals, and six in total.

The new lounge features a fully tended bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and fresh seasonal hot and cold food from the buffet. It also offers high-speed Wi-Fi and views across the runway.

Lounge users can also make use of shower facilities, seats, work stations and charging outlets, while international newspapers and magazines are offered.

Prices start from £40 (US$52) for two hours’ access, the company said. The lounge is located close to departure gate A7 and is open daily from 0500 to 2200. Travellers can book in advance or walk in on the day of travel.

Plaza Premium added that it would open an 83-bedroom airport transit hotel at Heathrow in Terminal 3 in January 2018, operating under the Aerotel brand.
